Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of Masters with 3-5 years of experience or PhD with 0-2 years of experience. Strong preference for degrees in Chemical Engineering.
- Strong focus on building models from first principles to describe physical systems including reaction engineering.
- Knowledge/expertise in structure-property relationships of materials and their modelling for integration into the material and process design.
- Ability to develop mathematical models and solve using open-source software.
- Strong capabilities in tying experimental data with model results.
General Capabilities:
- Should be a proactive self-starter and capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Should be able to represent modelling of experimental conditions into mathematical formulations without pre-emption.
- Able to independently identify potential gaps in the fundamental understanding of physical processes of interest and eventually become a resident expert.
- Should be highly comfortable working in a startup environment.
Remuneration:
Compensation will be commensurate with skills and experience with possibilities for stock options.
